We do not allow campers to keep cell phones during their week of camp.
What is the process for dropping off phones?
- Phones will be dropped off at check in on the first day of camp. We ask that they are turned off at drop off.
- Phones will be kept locked up during camp.
- Phones will be returned on the last day prior to Week-in-review.
Why do we not allow phones during camp?
- Relationships are one of our values and we want kids to interact face-to-face. Phones have become a hindrance and can be a distraction for relationships to develop.
- We want kids to enjoy playing outdoors and take a break from screens for the week.
- We do not know what information has been downloaded or can be accessed on a phone. So, to protect them and others from inappropriate content, it is better to not have phones accessible.
How can I contact my child?
- You can call the office, 541-544-2971, and we will either set up a time for a phone call or pass along a message.
- During drop off, we can also set up a time for campers to call home if that is a help during their time at camp.
- Mail is always a good way to let your child know you are thinking of them.
To see a typical daily schedule for each of our programs, check out our page: Typical Day at Camp

Long pants are also required for riding horses which the camp does not supply.
You can list up to 2 friends your child would like to be in a cabin with during the registration process. Please let the office know if there are any changes.
