COVID-19 UPDATE

Camp Morrow depends on donations throughout the year to help with camp operations. We are so thankful for so many people who generously give to keep the ministry going.

We have received word that overnight camps will be open this summer!  The guidance for overnight camps is still being finalized, so we will not know until it is what all the protocols will be.  We are so excited though that we continue to go forward with our schedule and look forward to seeing you here this summer!

We are still very limited by the current guidelines. We are planning for overnight camps this summer, so please pray with us that the Governor's office and OHA will allow for overnight camps in their Guidelines for summer camps.

We are very pleased with how our first ever Day Camps went this summer! A huge "Thank you" to all the parents who made the sacrifice to drive all the miles everyday to make camp happen for their kids! It was so much fun to have kids laughing, running, swimming and having fun at camp, we know they needed it too.

As overnight family camps are allowed, we were able to have two churches come in August. Besides that, nothing much is happening with groups heading into the fall. The cabin project is continuing, you can check out the Construction Page to see pictures and stay updated with the progress.

Thank you so much for your generosity towards the camp as the donations continue to be a huge help as we don't have our usual Guest Group income. If you feel led, you may send a check to the camp or give online using the orange Donate button to the right. 79551 Morrow Rd. Wamic, OR 97063

Please keep us in your prayers, we continue to trust our loving, faithful and gracious God!

We are sad and disappointed to announce overnight youth camps are not allowed in Oregon this summer. We were notified last night by the Governor's office, this after they had stated on Friday that overnight camps would open in Phase 2. Even though this is not at all what we expected or planned for this summer, we rest in the assurance that our King and Savior, Jesus Christ, continues to reign, has all authority and is in complete control! He is full of compassion and mercy and desires you to know Him personally.

You can check out our new summer schedule that includes Day Camps. Thank you for your continued patience and prayer!

Thank you so much for your continued prayer and patience as we work on what this summer will look like at Camp Morrow. Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to cancel all overnight camps through July 18 at this time in accordance with Governor Kate Brown's Guidance for Summer Camps. We had expected to be able to open May 15 in accordance with the guidelines that were coming which included overnight camps. However, when the guidelines came out, they were changed to cover only day camps. We are now working with other camps and government officials to have the decision reversed to open up overnight camps, which is why we are leaving the last couple of camps in July open at this time.

In addition, we have also decided to put together a day camp program which we plan to release in the coming days. This is new for us and we understand that it will be difficult for many of our campers to attend due to the distance, but we hope that we can provide some camp experience for kids who are close enough to make the drive. As soon as we have details, we will let you know. Thank you again for your crucial support for us both through prayer and your financial donations, it is so appreciated and needed! All registered campers will be notified through email soon and let us know if you have any questions.

Governor Kate Brown and her team have started releasing information on reopening camps in Oregon. We are waiting on guidelines and information for summer camps that should be released in the coming days. Once we have all the information we expect to make a decision about the summer and will let you know as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and your prayers during this time.

Even though we are still closed though May 20, registrations are still open (full refunds will be given if camps need to be canceled) for our summer programs as we are still hoping and planning for camps. We are closely monitoring regulations from the Government and Health Department for updates on large group bans, travel restrictions and safety guidelines to know when we can resume camp programs and retreats.

Although it is quiet here at camp, we are working on facility projects, staffing and planning for the summer. Please keep us in your prayers during these uncertain times. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to call 541-544-2971.

To support the national effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and in adherence to Governor Kate Brown’s "Stay Home" order, Camp Morrow has cancelled all events and are not hosting groups through May 20th. We are still planning for camps this summer, so you can still register for any of our programs. If we do need to cancel any programs or if any registered camper is not able to attend, full refunds will be given. We are excited for what God will do through these uncertain times, knowing that He reigns and is in control of all things. So, we continue to put our trust in God and look forward to seeing people back at camp; laughing, playing and learning more about His incredible love and grace!
