LADIES REFRESH

October 25-27, 2024
$170

Come ladies and get away! Enjoy doing the things that make a retreat for you! Make it a high energy weekend, or just as low key as you need. We will have optional activities available like horseback riding, the climbing wall, crafts and painting.  You are welcome to bring your own fun project that you do not find time at home to complete.  Camp Morrow offers beautiful trails to walk on through the woods by the creek.  We trust that you will go home refreshed.  This retreat is for ladies 18 years old and older.

Accommodations

The food at the ladies retreat is nothing short of amazing!  Please let us know if you have special dietary needs.

Camp Morrow offers a few different styles of accommodations.  Most of our accommodations are youth style heated cabins with bunks and no bathrooms.  We have a bathhouse close by with all the facilities.  We have a few nicer cabins with bathrooms and will reserve these for our older guests or ladies who find going outside more challenging!  Please let us know if you have any special needs.  Be sure to bring your own bedding, towels and personal items.

Meet our Speakers

Jane Schmidt

Jane is a daughter, sister, wife, mom and friend. Working with her husband Brad, in all areas of camp ministry, she loves creating a place where guests can call home.  Her desire is to actively demonstrate the love and hope of Jesus through good conversation and hospitality.  Jane met her husband Brad while serving as camp counselors at Eagle Fern Camp. Married almost 37 years, they enjoy traveling and adventuring with their 2 grown sons and daughter in law.  Jane's passion is to understand how to overcome obstacles by finding the opportunity for growth.

Amy Hammer

In a nutshell, I have had the privilege of witnessing God’s work first hand in my little family.  Through painful trials He brought about healing and restoration, He taught me about forgiveness, and changed my perspective on suffering.  Looking back I now have comfort and joy in marveling at how God answered my prayers.  He is so good, and has been so good to me.  In 2 Corinthians 12:9 the Lord says, “ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”.  God doesn’t just get us through hard times, He changes us.  He grows us.  He uses those hard times to prune us and make us more Christ-like.  He is trustworthy and faithful, and I am so grateful for the work He has done in me and my family.
I’m looking forward to the retreat and being surrounded by women who love Jesus!  I know we will have sweet fellowship together.
